On some replacements for the slightly banana like YB100 forks. These are some very reasonably priced new CG125 pattern legs and second hand yokes, handlebars clamps have been machined away by Ian Abso.

Sids Wheels
Check out the shiny stuff, Sid (man of many names) of Sids Wheels (see sponsors tab) has laced up these lovely looking pieces. Rear is a WM1 rim laced onto a refurbed bantam hub and the front is off an old lightweight road bike, completely refurbed by Sid. A great bloke and great work, many thanks.

Suzuki Beamish
Another act of incredible generousity has seen the donation of this bike, proceeds from its sale will be put towards the project and take us another step nearer to Bonneville. The bike will be transported by Mike Kilvert to The Taverners, Founders day at Stanford Hall on Sept. 2nd. It will be held at the Bantam Owners Club Stand, for further details of the show see founders day.

New born
First sight of 'the special', this is a template frame made from plain steel tubing that Mal will use to get everything measured out and make certain of fit with all other components. Look below at the beautiful crossover at the headstock, nice work Mal. It's certainly going to be a light and very small frame, let's see you on that Steve.
Tight fit
It's the only way to describe a 15 stone, 6'2" man on a bantam, tucked behind a fairing only 15" wide. Bike taking shape and looking good, rider still dodgy!
Fairing mounting all laid out and works well, here we are measuring up for the seat, screen and footpegs. Thanks Mal.

Turning it up.
The cranks progress, a number of blanks rough machined pictured on the left. On the right is a sample of the blanks back from heat treatment. Ready for Steve to machine down to finished product.
